Chemical Industry

Sodium silicate is used as a source of hydrated and soluble silica in the production of Precipitated Silica, Sodium aluminosilicate; Colloidal Silica, Gel Silica, Zeolites and Catalysts.
Precipitated Silica (Diasil and Diaflow) is largely used as a source of amorphous and reactive silica, as humectant agent, as fluidizing agent of solid chemical product, and as support for active material in chemical compounds.
Diatomite is used as auxiliary agent in the filtering process in the different production types of the chemical industry, in addition to being a defluorination agent in the production of sulfuric acid.
Products
- Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate
-
Due to its detergent power in grease and clay material removal, it is largely used in industrial cleaning, cloth washing, cotton bleaching, paper bleaching and particularly as alkaline degreasing.
- Anhydrous sodium metasilicate
-
Due to its detergent power in grease and clay material removal, it is largely used in industrial cleaning, cloth washing, cotton bleaching, paper bleaching and particularly as alkaline degreasing.
- Silica
-
Used for different application, including production of paints and pigments, chemical products, fertilizers and powder detergents.
- Sodium Silicate
-
Sodim Silicate is a chemical product of vast application, besides being a substitute in formulas and process seeking for a environmentally friendly alternative.
- Diatomite
-
The definition of application of Diatomite depends on the size and structure of the carapaces and varies according to the region from where it is extracted, and to the treatment used in the processing.
