Diasil and Diaflow is a precipitated silicon dioxide, amorphous, with high surface area, low density, and high power of liquid absorption. It is obtained from the neutralization of an alkaline solution of sodium silicate, with sulfuric acid forming a sol-gel, composed by sodium sulfate and insoluble SiO2, which is separated and processed for the production of Diasil and Diaflow.
